I am addicted to this wonderful thing called long boarding. It is the best thing in the whole world. No lie. The BEST:) I am in love. For those of you who have not experienced it let me tell you how amazing it is:
It feels like you are flying. the wind just drills your face. it makes your eyes water and your tongue gets all dried out (well if you stick our tongue out like i do haha). The road becomes your slave as you carve it up. you tame it and own it. Unless you take a spill then the road becomes your master. You feel like you could do anything after going down your first hill. nothing can stop you.
I felt all of this yesterday when i went. My friend took me out down by his house and he showed me how to master it. At first I was really shaky and by the end i was still shaky but more confident. anyway. we went down to the hill by his house. then our other friend Andrew (he is in our English class with us). he came and helped with the teaching process. i did really good until they had me try turning... AHAHAH!! So i start out and get going then i realize "oh crap Steph...you have no idea how to turn" so i just run off the road on to the grass and just crash. i did 3 summer salts haha. but it is worth it to biff.
All in all i am just in love with it. So hopefully "Santa" will bring me one for christmas:) then i can go cruse all around town.

Happy Birthday to......ME:)
november 28th, 2011. this day i am 17 years old!!! yayayayayayay!!! i cant wait to open presents! (spoiler: i am getting the coolest sweater in the whole world) every one is coming over to par-tay at my house and eat rainbow cupcakes:) it is going to be a blast and a half.
i also got mt blood taken today..... almost passed out....mt vision went black, it sounded like i was walking threw a tunnel, my teeth felt like they were gone, i was as white as a ghost, and a throwing up feeling came upon me at least 3 times. let me tell you Stephanie Carlson will never do that again. ever. never.
but it was all good cause Annie ( my best friend in the whole world) was there to help me threw it. Love you Annie:) oh! and some other people were there too...........hmmmm oh yes:) Today was an Amazing day! thanks to everyone.

Peeeerfect dates:)
Here is something you need to know about me. I love cute things. Like getting a note that says nice things and the author of it is not known, some one telling me I look nice, any complements, and being with someone great on a cute date. I haven't had the last one happen yet but I hope it will. I mean I have been on dates and they all have been so fun but I want a super cute one to happen. so I have 3 freaken cute dates/ perfect days that I just have to tell you about:)
#1:
He comes and picks me up and we go to his house. On the way there we go to the store and pick up somethings for dinner. He isn't telling me what we are doing the whole time. so we get to his house and he has me close my eyes and we go up stairs and in his game room (or where ever) there is a fort set up. with little Christmas lights and all this cute stuff. Then he leads me in and we sit and talk and laugh about all our good times together. We read cute story books to each other. then we go and make finger food and bring it up to the fort. Then we eat and watch a cute movie.
#2:
(this one will happen if I live near a beach). I wake up early and walk out side and see that he is waiting out front with two surf boards and a picnic basket. He tells me that we just need to go spend the day together. so I go and grab all my stuff and we head off. we get to his favorite beach and start our sun filled day off with some great fun. We surf and eat and laugh all afternoon. Then after that we just sit out looking at the ocean while we play our ukuleles. It is dark now and there is a party going on at the end of the beach and they are setting off fire works so we sit and watch them.
#3:
(this one needs to happen during the winter. preferably around Christmas time) He comes and picks me up kind of early and we go to his house. There are a few other couples with us. we get dressed in our snow clothing and head out to go sledding. I am not a huge fan of sledding but he will ride with me so I have a good time:). After hours in the cold we decide to call it a day and we head back to his house. We change out of our wet clothing and get into nice warm comfy sweats. Then we make cute little sugar cookies that look like Christmas figures and drink hot chocolate. Then after that we go and watch a cute Christmas movie.
I just really want to do all of these. Like really bad because they all would be so freaken fun. :) It just makes me one happy person to think about do all of these.

Christmas please hurry hurry up!!
Its the most wonderful time of the year. Nothing can ever beat having the whole family under one roof laughing, eating, and having fun. I get a warm on the inside just thinking about it:)
Our whole extended family comes to our house on the night of Christmas eve. If you have ever been to my house you know that it isn't the biggest thing in the world. But having every one that close just makes things so much better. we all just love each other so much you can just feel it in the air. It swirls around us and fills us to the brim. This will also be the last year that all our family is not together because next year both of my siblings on missions will be HOME!! yes!! I can't wait!! Our family is just so dang cool. Nuf said:)
So during this big bash we do so many things. Let me just give you a little vision of what it would/will look like. Our front living room has all the furniture kind off pushed up against the walls to make room. All the Christmas decorations are shining and just look all happy. Then the people just start pouring in around 7 to 7:30pm. We say a few word of thanks and say a prayer then.....the feast begins. We have 2 "6 foot" long subs, potato salad, fruit, veggies, chips, dip, ice cream, pie, ham, and all kinds of treats. We sit and eat and laugh. then all the kids gather together to play board games. My aunt pulls every one together and we do the best traditional thing of all...the Christmas bells!! yes! That is something I look forward to every year. I will explain them later on when it is closer to the actual holiday. After that the party dies down and every one goes home. Then it is time to go to bed and sit (not sleep) and wait for Santa to come:) (during the party me and my sister exit for a second a put on our matching Christmas PJ's)
